4 June - Depart for Australia

Please feel free to contact us via this blog should you wish to catch up with us during our trip. We will be open to offers of lunch, dinner, tea and of course anything inbetween and we would welcome any tips on what to see while we are there.

We have been having some very hot weather here in Perth at the close of summer, 42 degrees 4 days running, that means not much sleep and hot toothpaste, yuck. Thankfully it has settled back down to a liveable 30 degrees with even a touch of Autumn showing in the trees. Roll on the best time of the year here when even winter is fantastic (and fingers crossed that we get some decent rain).

Another beautiful West Australian Sunset at 'S' Bend, Geraldton. Taken on a trip up there in November 2006.

Welcome to Maison Nollamara, Perth, Western Australia

Hello and welcome to Maison Nollamara the home of Jim & Monty.

Maison Nollamara resides in the Western Australian suburb of Nollamara (which is the Aboriginal name for Red Kangaroo Paw a species of flora unique to the locale).

We have created this blogspot to document our impending trip to the UK and to give you lots of tasty geographical treats along the way.

So sit back, relax with a G&T and join us as we meander the highways and byways of the Celtic Isles.
